I am one of the few lucky people blessed to be doing what I love. I absolutely love farms and listing farms, meeting new people, exploring new farms are something that money cannot buy. I fall in love with every farm that I list as each and everyone has its own personality, its own potential and its own dreams (untold stories and wishes)

I usually cannot wait to share my (yes, they become my own) newest farm with the world! Yet, I was hesitant with this particular farm. It grew on me to such an extent that I could not imagine sharing it with anybody else and if I had money, I would have purchased it for myself.

The owners are currently renovating the study and with windows on two sides and sunshine spilling through the windows I can imagine spending days there, just soaking up the sun and the view through the windows.

This farm,442 hectares, is properly fenced and divided into 7 camps each with their own water crib. To my surprise one of the camps have electric fencing keeping the free roaming pigs inside. And believe me, they are as happy as can be, roaming, ploughing and rearing their offspring the way nature intended them to do. To further my surprise, I found that they are tame as well!!

There is kloof running through the farm, originating from the mountains on one side, acting as a catchment area for the water. It is grown with trees and the thicket provides shelter to animals. I can imagine having a little cabin amongst these trees, hiding away from the world, imagining my own little fairy tale world…a child`s dream...or an adult`s fantasy.

The field are in good condition and even thought this is a sheep farmer`s dream the current owner manages the grazing of his flock, ensuring that he does not exploit nature or her resources.

Studies have been done on drip irrigation and it was found that it would be feasible and even more, that the proposed position of the tank would eliminate the need for a pump as the pressure would be more than enough to feed the drips.

The property leans itself to development but is also capable of providing a good income as it is.

There is just something to this place… Maybe it is the wind whispering through the trees in the kloof, or the silence in the field, maybe it is the gigantic windmills on the far horizon or even Van Staden`s beach a bit further down…I am not sure but I can imagine living a tranquil lifestyle here. I can Imagine finding yourself on horseback, just you, the horse and the absolute fabulousness of nature all around.
